For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. - Jeremiah 29:11
Tuition Assistance applications for the 2026-2027 school year are being accepted now through April 15th. If you would like to request assistance, please stop in the office for an application.
Please note that we have moved up the date by several months in order to give families time to plan.
The Forward test is a tool that provides schools with data. This data is based on students’ proficiency in ELA, math, science, and social studies. By analyzing the results, Trinity is able to identify student learning gaps and provide targeted instruction. While this test is one data point on each students’ educational journey, it serves as an important measure of progress at Trinity.
Does our school's report card matter? If a strong report card rating is the reason a family chooses Trinity for their education, and they don't know Jesus, their children get to hear about Jesus every school day. Yes, it matters!
Please note that lesson times are being adjusted to accomodate the Forward tests in the coming weeks. Thank you to our music instructors who are adjusting schedules during our testing periods.
Today 3rd Quarter Report Cards will be available for grades 2-8 on Gradelink.
K & 1st grade report cards will be sent home with the children.
If you have any questions please reach out to your child's teacher.
Trinity had two teams this year. Both teams put in a lot of effort throughout the entire year. It started with each student reading the VEX robotics materials and picking an emphasis to learn more about; such as the notebook process, programming, or mechanical engineering.
Both of our teams aggressively pursued custom robots. The elementary team was inspired by an internet robot called Revolver. The middle school team built two custom robots. They were inspired by a shipping container machine and a mutated lobster.
Both teams earned multiple awards and both qualified and competed at the State Tournament.
The elementary team earned a Create Award (which qualified them for the State Tournament) and two Teamwork Awards.
The middle school team earned a Judges Award, a Design Award (which qualified them for the State Tournament), a Build Award, and earned the Create Award at the State Tournament.
It was a great year for our teams. Thanks to the coaches Marcus Poppler, Justin Harris and Jacob Schable.
A huge thank you to the congregation that makes it possible for us to do robotics.
Mr. Steve Haag has accepted the call to Trinity and will serve as our principal beginning in July! Mr. Haag currently serves as principal at New Hope Lutheran Academy in West Melbourne, FL. Please keep an eye on the TST as we make plans to welcome Mr. Haag and his family.
Mrs. Rebekah Frear has received the call from Trinity to serve as our 2nd grade teacher. Mrs. Frear currently serves as a teacher at Grace in Glendale, AZ. Please pray for Mrs. Frear and her family as she prayerfully considers the two calls she now holds.

SUPPORT FOR KEITH WORDELL
As many of you know, Shoreland faculty member and friend, Keith Wordell, has been courageously battling cancer and enduring difficult side effects for nearly three years. Recently, Keith faced another serious challenge when an infection led to the amputation of his leg just below the knee. During this time, many have reached out asking how they can support Keith and his family. We can do this by showing a unified effort from the Shoreland Federation and our broader community to come alongside the Wordell family with encouragement, prayer, and tangible support as they navigate this difficult journey together. Please consider the following:
1. Include Keith in your prayers in church over the next few weeks.
2. Share Keith and Laurie's address and encourage anyone who wants to support them, to send a card with encouraging words and a gift if they would like.
Keith and Laurie Wordell

3. Share the link to the Go-Fund Me that has been created by one of their daughters as another option for supporting them financially. https://gofund.me/57ca2330b

SLHS Partners,
I wanted to share some exciting opportunities we are working to offer for grade school students this spring and fall!
This spring, we are looking to start a flag football team for current 5th–8th graders. This will be a fun, low-commitment opportunity with practices and games on the same day (most likely Saturdays), and it will be completely free. Our goal is simple—give students a chance to stay active, have fun, and build a love for the game of football.
Looking ahead to the fall, we are planning to offer Jr. Pacers football teams:
A tackle football team for incoming 7th & 8th graders
Potentially a second team for incoming 5th & 6th graders (based on interest)
A possible flag football option for 1st–5th graders if numbers allow
Interest Form
If your child is interested in participating in football this spring or fall, please take a moment to fill out the interest form below:
Once I have a rough estimate of numbers I will send out the official sign up links.
We are also offering current 7th & 8th graders the opportunity to train in the Shoreland weight room this spring. These sessions will focus on teaching the fundamentals of strength, speed, and agility in a safe and supportive environment.
All sessions will be supervised by me
No sign-up required—students can simply attend
Both boys and girls are welcome.
A signed waiver is required to participate:
Junior Pacers Weight Lifting- Participation Consent Form
(Forms can be brought to the first session or sent to me ahead of time.)
Lifting Schedule:
Thursday, March 26 | 5:30–6:30 PM
Tuesday, March 31 | 5:30–6:30 PM
Tuesday, April 7 | 5:30–6:30 PM
Thursday, April 9 | 5:30–6:30 PM

I’m really excited about the opportunity to build something special for our younger athletes and help them grow both on and off the field. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
Thank you, and we hope to see your child involved!
