News and Notes for the 5th Grade Classroom:
Thank you for coming to Music Night! It was a great night of music and fellowship.
We are out of Kleenex. If you have a box or two at home that you'd be willing to send to school, we'd appreciate it!
Arbor Day: Arbor Day is this Wednesday afternoon. We will help clean up Pastor Vogel's yard. If students want to bring gloves and/or rakes, that would be helpful! Students may want to bring an old pair of shoes or boots to wear, in case the ground is muddy. It'll be nice to get our campus all cleaned up after this rain.
Friday Field Trip: Friday morning we will be heading to Shoreland Lutheran High School to watch their production of Fiddler On the Roof. Watch your email for more details.
Dress Code: Just a reminder that the dress code needs to be followed regarding the length of shorts.
Literature: This week we'll focus on Fairy Tales, Tall Tales, and Mysteries.

English Class News:
This week we will be writing our short movies with our groups. We will also record the movies. Time to get dramatic!
Music Class News:
Thank you for bringing your kids to Music Night. It was a blast!
We will finish the year completing our projects. We will write a short movie in English class and we will write our own soundtrack during music class. As the class is watching the productions, groups will have to play their music live.
Jr. Choir News:
We sing for both the 8 am and 10:30 am services on Sunday, May 10th. Students will be excused before the sermon in the second service, about 11 am.
Jr. Choir Singing Schedule 2025-2026:
Sunday, September 28th-(Organ Dedication Sunday) Choir will sing in both services- 8 & 10:30 am
Sunday, November 9th- 8am service
Tuesday, December 16th-Mass Rehearsal for Christmas Concert-6:30 pm
Wednesday, December 17th-(Christmas Concert)- 6:30 pm service
Thursday, December 25th-(Christmas Day Service)- Jr. Choir is invited to sing along with the Sr. Choir to celebrate Jesus's birth!
Wednesday, February 18th- (Ash Wednesday)-4:00 pm service; serve Lenten supper
Sunday, April 5th- (Easter)- 8 am service
Thursday, April 16th-Music Night 6:30 pm
Sunday, May 10th- 8 am and 10:30 am services-We will leave the second service by 11ish am.
Friday, May 22nd-Closing Service (during the school day)
