Preparation & Environment

• Set up a dedicated workspace: Sit at a desk or table in a quiet, well-lit space free from household distractions.

• Check your technology early: Log in 5–10 minutes before class starts to test your internet connection, microphone, camera, and device battery.

• Gather your materials: Have your notebooks, textbooks, pens, and assignment details ready before the session begins.

Digital Etiquette & Behavior

• Mute your microphone: Keep your mic muted upon entering and whenever you are not speaking to minimize background noise.

• Keep your camera on: Stay visible on camera (unless instructed otherwise) to show presence and engagement.

• Dress appropriately: Follow your school’s dress code or wear neat, casual attire suitable for a classroom setting.

• Be punctual: Join class on time and stay for the entire duration of the session.

• Screenshot, Photo Capture, and Screen or Video Recording: All students must refrain from taking photos, screen capturing, and video recording of anyone in the class at any time. This will be a breach of privacy code. Serious consequences will be imposed.

Participation & Communication

• Use virtual features: Use the "Raise Hand" button or the chat function to ask questions or make contributions without interrupting the teacher.

• Keep chat relevant: Use the text chat strictly for academic questions and lesson-related discussions, not for side conversations.

• Stay focused: Avoid multi-tasking, checking personal social media, playing games, or browsing unrelated tabs during instruction.

• Practice digital citizenship: Be respectful, polite, and constructive when speaking or typing to classmates and teachers.
