Meet Your Teacher

Welcome to our classroom! I am thrilled to start my first year teaching here, especially because I student taught in this very room – it holds a special place in my heart. As a proud graduate of Tri-City in 2019 and UIS in May 2025 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education and an endorsement in special education, I am excited to bring my passion and knowledge to this wonderful school and community. Having grown up here, I feel incredibly supported and look forward to giving back.

I married my best friend, Jared, in April 2025, and we have a spoiled miniature schnauzer named Kayce. Outside of teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring new hobbies. I believe in creating a supportive and engaging classroom environment where every child can thrive, and I am committed to fostering a love for learning through hands-on activities, engaging projects, and personalized attention.
