At Tri-City Schools, we are looking for students who follow and demonstrate "Paw Pride" throughout the day. Our goal is to encourage positive behaviors everyday! You can help us at home by reminding your child of school appropriate behavior. The three main rules are centered around these ideas:
Be Responsible
Be Respectful
Be Safe
Once a month, the school will hold a PAW Pride celebration for students who have good behavior and turn in their homework.
Classroom Dojo
Every student will receive a classroom dojo monster on my Classroom dojo account. Every time that they show an act of kindness or outstanding classroom behavior, they will get points added to their monster. They will fill out the amount of points they get on their own dojo sheet at the end of each day. Once they reach the end of the points on their sheet they will get their choice of a reward. Dojo sheets will always be in their take home folder for you to review.
I will use SchoolStatusConnect to keep in touch with each parent/guardian. I will add each student and invite parents/legal guardians from the information on Skyward. Through this app, you will be able to message me, view announcements, sign up for volunteer opportunities, parent-teacher conferences, and access links that I have posted/assigned. I will try my best to check my messages on SchoolStatusConnect throughout the day, but if there is any emergency or sudden change transportation please call the elementary office at 217-364-4035.
