1. Confer with teacher about student concerns and needs, and agree to be an active participant in the I&RS process.

2. Once referral process is complete, if determined child needs I&RS program, you will receive an notice with information about Initial I&RS meeting for your child.

3. Review forms about I&RS program details

4. Attend Initial I&RS meeting, answer Parent Interview questions about your child, and be a part of developing your child's Intervention Plan.

5. Receive and Review Student Action Plan

6. Complete at-home portion of interventions determined by team at Initial meeting

7. Attend Follow-Up I&RS meetings  (if applicable)

   • Provide team with updates and suggestions

8. IF NECESSARY: Once intervention period is over (at least 6-9 weeks), attend Child Study Team ID meeting for evaluation determination. 

9. Transport child to and from designated testing site on assigned evaluation date (if applicable).
