Tools used: Articulate Storyline and Canva
Additional Deliverables: Design Document Storyboard Job Aid
Audience: All video production team members (ages 30–50) across U.S. offices, who regularly handle camera, lighting, and editing equipment and spend extended time seated or standing at editing stations.
Problem: Despite access to standing desks, team members continue to report back, shoulder, and wrist strain due to improper equipment handling and poor posture during long editing sessions. The goal is to reduce pain-related incident reports by 75% through improved body mechanics and ergonomic practices.
Solution: New and current team members will complete a body mechanics training module that includes video demonstrations of safe vs. unsafe equipment handling, ergonomic setup best practices, and interactive scenarios related to typical job tasks. Engaging in activities such as drag-and-drop posture correction and accordion-style ergonomic tip reviews will engage learners. They will also complete knowledge check quizzes and a final scenario-based assessment.
Highlights: The course is developed in Articulate Storyline and visually enhanced using Canva. This eLearning course features animated infographics, scenario-based learning activities, and immediate feedback on all interactions. We guide learners through realistic video production challenges and provide them with downloadable ergonomic job aids. A custom completion tracker allows for quick reporting and support follow-up.
Process: After identifying trends in ergonomic-related incident reports, I conducted a learner analysis and needs assessment. From this, I drafted a Design Document outlining key learning objectives and selected Articulate Storyline as the delivery platform. I developed video-based tutorials, drag-and-drop posture checks, and interactive guides with built-in assessments. Each scenario was tested and refined based on stakeholder feedback.
Kirkpatrick's Level 2 of Evaluation: The training concludes with a final graded assessment including 5 performance-based scenario questions. Learners must pass with a score of 80% and are given up to two attempts.
Kirkpatrick's Level 3 of Evaluation: Six months post-training, data will be collected from facilities and HR to evaluate if team members have requested ergonomic equipment for their workspace (in-office or remote). A measurable reduction in pain-related incident reports will confirm improved on-the-job performance and behavioral change.
Audience: All current Client Relations Consultants (ages 30–50) across U.S. offices who are experienced in client communication and research but lack confidence in asking probing questions and documenting information effectively.
Problem: Consultants are missing opportunities to deepen client relationships and convert leads due to weak pre-call preparation, ineffective questioning techniques, and inconsistent documentation. The goal is to increase video editing opportunities by 80% within the next 12 months by improving how consultants gather and use client information.
Solution: This eLearning program helps consultants master three core areas: preparing for client calls, asking insightful and clarifying questions, and documenting their findings effectively. The training includes scenario-based learning, role-play simulations, and downloadable templates for tracking and organizing client information.
Highlights: The course is developed in Articulate Rise 360 and visually enhanced using Canva. It features branching scenarios for pre-call preparation and client conversations, role-play activities for practicing questioning techniques, and downloadable documentation templates. Learners receive feedback based on realistic client responses and practice organizing information in a consistent format.
Process: After identifying weak points in client interactions, I conducted a learner analysis and outlined a training strategy focused on realistic practice and tools that could be used immediately on the job. I created a Design Document and storyboarded each scenario to align with performance goals. The course was developed in Rise 360 for ease of access and modular learning, with interactive role-play activities conducted virtually to reinforce skills.
Kirkpatrick's Level 2 of Evaluation: A final graded assessment consists of 5 scenario-based questions related to client interactions and documentation. Learners must pass with a score of 80%, with two attempts allowed.
Kirkpatrick's Level 3 of Evaluation: Within six months, we will evaluate if consultants are successfully asking the right questions to capture key client needs and translating that into usable information for the video editing team. Success will be measured by an 80% increase in video editing opportunities within 12 months, directly linked to improved client data gathering and communication.
