I live in Kentucky with my loving family, sleepy cat, and lively Boxer. When I’m not working, I spend quality time with my family playing board games or camping. We're also embarking on an exciting journey to build a small farm in the coming years. 💜 Partnering with SMEs, I create design documents and storyboards that clearly outline the flow, content, interactions, and assessments, all tied to learning objectives.
💜 I design learner-centered experiences grounded in adult learning principles—and I always look for creative, engaging ways to bring the content to life and deliver impact for both the learner and the client.
Applied Instructional Design Academy Certification
The Applied Instructional Design Academy is a 9-month program offered by Learning Strategy & Design that includes training, receiving extensive coaching, and completing hands-on projects. The Applied Instructional Design Credential, which includes several badges, is part of a program that focuses on real-world, applied ID / eLearning development through coaching, mentorship, implementation/practice, and simulated client projects, utilizing the LEARN Framework (Learn, Examine, Apply, Revise, Network.) The earners have to pass certain criteria to receive badges.
