About Me

Hello, my name is Lisa Schaar. I am the Title One Reading teacher here at Tracy Elementary. This is my 38th year in teaching. I have taught many levels of elementary and have transitioned to this teaching capacity after many years in the classroom. I truly LOVE to teach children how to read and to help them in the areas that they are struggling the most in order to help them become the strongest reader they can be. 

I am married to my husband, Terry. We celebrated our 39th wedding anniversary this June. We have three grown children. Jenna is a CVT at a vet clinic in St. Louis Park. Walker and his wife Trisha live in the Tracy school district and have three small boys. Lauren and her husband Jonny have a home in Andover and have three small girls.  Being a grandparent is such a joy in my life.

I enjoy reading (of course), gardening, walking, traveling and spending time with my family whenever possible.
