In our classroom there are a couple of things that we expect from everyone.
1.) Try your best
2.) Be kind to others
3.) Stay in your own space
4.) Listen when others are talking
5.) Be helpful
The disciplinary system we use in second grade is called the B.A.M Board. B stands for behavior, A for assignment, and M for material. If your student is misbehaving in school, they will get a B on the BAM board. If they don't finish an assignment, they will receive an A on the BAM board. If they forget a material like their planner, take home folder, or a book; they will receive a M on the BAM board. We do a reward on Friday in the afternoon. If your student has received 3 B's or a combination of 5 letters during that week, they will miss out on part of or all of reward on Friday.Â
