Engineering Design

Engineering design is the systematic, creative process engineers use to solve problems by developing technical solutions—such as products, systems, or processes—that meet specific needs and requirements. It involves identifying a problem, researching potential solutions, brainstorming ideas, prototyping, testing, and refining the design through an iterative, decision-making process until the optimal solution is achieved and meets safety and project owner needs.

Engineering Design is a first semester elective for students in grades 10-12.
