IEP

Each student I work with has an Individualized Education Plan or IEP. The IEP is a plan developed by the IEP team which includes the parent, child (depending on the age), special education teacher, regular education teachers, an administrator, and any other related service personnel. Each year, we will meet to discuss your child's progress, update your child's educational data, and make any necessary changes to the IEP.

Another component of the IEP is the progress report. Each nine weeks when you receive your child's report card, you will receive a progress report from me stating the student's progress toward the IEP goals. You will also receive a progress report from any related service providers your child sees, such as speech, adapted PE, etc.
