This course allows students to practice the skills required of and used by historians in their line of work. Students will learn important methods of research, develop domain-specific reading skills and writing skills, and apply and develop their historical inquiry skills while working on their project. 

As part of this class, student will also participate in the National History Day competition.  This competition allows students to use the skills that learn in this class to research their topic that focuses on a specific theme.  This year's theme is rights and responsibilities in history.  Please scroll down for more information on what National History Day will look like in this class.
