Athletics/Activities Coordinator-Ryan Reed
Mr. Reed was selected as the Athletics/Activities Coordinator in 2019. Mr. Reed has been in education since 2007, and has been at Eisenhower since 2013. Along with serving as the Athletics/Activities Coordinator, Mr. Reed is also the Dean of Students. While at Eisenhower he has taught 8th Grade AVID, 6th Grade Social Studies and 8th Grade Social Studies.
Mr. Reed coached at Eisenhower before taking over as the Athletics/Activities Coordinator. Sports he coached were Football, Boys Basketball and Track, serving as the Head Coach for Boys Basketball and Track. Mr. Reed also has coached Boys Basketball at the High School level, serving as a Freshmen coach and a Varsity Assistant.
During his tenure, Eisenhower has claimed 3 City Championships-2021-22 Girls Soccer (1st ever in the sport's history in 501), 2022-23 Volleyball (1st in School History), and 2022-23 Boys Soccer (1st in School History).
Mr. Reed has also lead effort to rebuild the EMS Weight Room in 2020-21. Through fundraising and grants, equipment was purchased and the weight room opened for the 2021-22 school year. It is used for PE, Clubs and Athletics. Mr. Reed is currently working on opening a Jr Disc Golf Course on the Eisenhower-Ross Campus.
Mr. Reed is a big believer that sports are crucial to a students success in school and using sports to teach life lessons. He also understands that sports success can carry over into the school community success.
