SMARTS (Students Making Achievements Right This Second) is a district-wide group of high school students who advocate for positive changes within their school, district, and community. The JLAB SMARTS team consists of a diverse group of students, recommended by staff members, who are interested in working together to make student voices heard.

The JLAB Student Leadership Team was formed to develop leaders through curriculum based on intentional conversation and activities. The team focus is leadership, community service and peer mentoring.

YES  is a unique partnership between Jones Leadership Academy of Business and the University of Toledo's Neff College of Business and Innovation. Students engage in learning opportunities to prepare them for future success in business. They interact with university professionals, professors, students and community area businesses.
