Week Two

Review (This Week) 

English: 

• We began our new writing unit of Flat Stanley. We recapped apostrophes for contraction and answered some reading comprehension questions. 

Maths: 

• We finished our fractions unit, learning how to find one half and one quarter of a whole number. 

Preview (Next Week) 

English: 

• We will begin shared writing our letters from Stanley's friend replying to Stanley. We will be applying our grammar knowledge of contractions and will recap some Year 2 spelling rules. 

Maths: 

• We will be consolidating our fractions knowledge and recapping column addition and subtraction.

     Science: 

• We will begin our new science unit of Plants.
