English: We have completed our Year 2 assessments.
Maths : We have completed our Year 2 assessments.
Science: We have used Oreos to learn about phases of the moon.
We visited the Space Inspirium.

It's been an incredibly busy week for Year 2. Not only did we complete our SATs assessments and go on our trip but we also led the whole school for Dance Wednesday! Check out our moves:

We have continued learning about 'Earth and Beyond' this week:
Miss Swan teaching us about the planets in our solar system!
Learning about the moon phases using Oreos (how delicious!).
We loved our trip to the Space Inspirium! We had some great discussions about Earth and Beyond and we even saw Bob and his friends from our story 'Man on the Moon' popping up around the museum...

Notices:
- School will finish at 1:30pm on the last day of the academic year: Friday, 28th June.
- Summer School is available from 1st - 19th July. Please speak to the office for more information and to sign up
- Please send your child into school with their hats, water bottles and folders
- Please be reminded about the importance of children wearing safe and appropriate footwear to school. It states in the parent handbook that 'open-toed sandals, flip flops or crocs are not allowed'
PE is on Monday and Thursday (they may wear their kit all day).
Swimming is on Tuesday (please label their kit, goggles and cap with their name).
