Classes
At Toyo University, the academic year is divided into two semesters (Spring and Fall), each lasting 15 weeks, and each semester is divided into two quarters, each lasting eight weeks. Classes are classified into two types: semester classes offered on a semester basis over a span of 15 weeks, and quarter classes offered on a quarterly basis over a span of eight weeks. Additionally, intensive lectures and practical training sessions, collectively called session classes, may be provided during the summer and spring breaks.
*The start and end dates for each semester are specified in the University Rules, but the actual semester dates on the academic calendar (class calendar) may differ depending on the year. Changes in student enrollment status, etc. are handled based on the semester dates in the University Rules (Spring Semester: from April 1 to September 15; Fall Semester: from September 16 to March 31).
