Note: If you enrolled in AY 2020 or before and wish to apply for language credit transfer, contact the Education Affairs Section (ml-grs-kyomu@toyo.jp).
If you are a regular student who failed a second foreign language course in the previous semester and wish to delete the registration of the foreign language course that will be automatically registered in the next semester, download the format from here, fill in the necessary information, attach the completed format and contact the Education Affairs Section for the Faculty of Global and Regional Studies (ml-grs-kyomu@toyo.jp) during each course registration period. Please note that deletion for any other reason, as well as application during the course withdrawal application period, will not be accepted.
💡The subject of the email should be “Deletion of pre-registration for a second foreign language” and include your affiliation (department or faculty), student ID number and name.
💡Please download the format from "File" -> "Download (Microsoft Excel)" in the upper left corner. Please do not make any sharing requests.
💡During your first and second years, foreign language courses corresponding to the year and semester you selected at the time of enrollment will be automatically registered. From the semester after you submit this application, please check your registration for foreign language courses during the course registration period, and if there are any courses you do not wish to take that have been automatically registered, please make sure to submit a cancellation request for those courses yourself every semester.

Students studying abroad should read the “Guide for Credit Approval and Course Registration for Long-Term Study Abroad, Study Abroad at Partner Universities and Leave of Absence” posted on ToyoNet-ACE below, and proceed with course registration procedures as necessary.
Students who wish to participate in the International Regional Studies Program, SFS and Service-Learningshould confirm the following and proceed with the procedures on their own.
・Field Study → Please check ToyoNet-ACE “Field Study” and apply for participation by yourself if you wish to participate.
・Student-led Field Study → This course is for sophomores and above. Please check the syllabus of each course for details, and be sure to register for each course during the registration period if you wish to participate.
・Service-Learning → Please check ToyoNet-ACE “Service-Learning” and proceed with the procedure on your own.
Students who wish to participate should check the application guidelines distributed through the ToyoNet-ACE portfolio and apply for participation on their own.
If you are a 4th year student who wishes to take graduate school courses, check the instructions below and submit the application form by the deadline.

Courses that are not listed in the curriculum of the department to which the student belongs, and that are not open to students of other departments of other faculties (see the course outline), may be taken as “Free-elective subjects” with the permission of the instructor in charge. However, even if credits are earned, they will not be recognized as graduation credits.
If you wish to take free-elective subjects, please check the following notes and Academic Catalog, and complete the application procedures using the application form (click to go to the form) by the due date.

・Only if your application is approved, it will be reflected on the course registration confirmation sheet after September 25th (Thu), so please check it yourself. If your application is rejected, it will not be displayed on the course registration confirmation sheet.
