Curious about becoming a doctor or dentist? These free weekend conferences offer an ultimate walkthrough of the application process. You will get vital tips on the UCAT exam, personal statements, interviews, and work experience, plus a certificate for your UCAS application.

Imperial College Healthcare NHS: Medical Work Experience Placements

Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is offering highly coveted 1 to 5-day face-to-face medical placements matching students directly with NHS consultants for ward rounds, outpatient clinics, and operating theatre observations.

• Who: Year 12 & Year 13 students taking at least two Science A-Levels, including Chemistry, who have not done previous medical placements.

• Strict Eligibility: Imperial will only accept applications for students who live or attend school in the following London boroughs: Ealing, Hammersmith & Fulham, Kensington & Chelsea, Westminster, Hounslow, or Brent.

Struggling to find in-person clinical placements? Created by the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP), Observe GP is a free interactive platform that lets you shadow primary care teams online. You will watch realistic consultation scenarios to understand the physical and emotional demands of a medical career.

• Who: Aspiring medics aged 16 and over (Years 12 – 13).

England's flagship youth dance company, Sadler's Wells NYDC, is offering free 2-hour or 3-hour contemporary dance workshops to schools. Led by NYDC alumni, these sessions focus on learning professional repertoire and creative practices, directly supporting BTEC, GCSE, or A-Level dance curricula.
