Get into Dentistry Conference

The conference helps aspiring dentists understand the complete dental application journey, from preparing for the UCAT and choosing dental schools to work experience, UCAS preparation and interviews. By signing up, students will also be able to access our new Dentistry Virtual Work Experience programme.

Observe GP: Virtual Medical Work Experience

Created by the Royal College of General Practitioners (RCGP), Observe GP is a free interactive platform that lets aspiring medics in Years 12 and 13 shadow primary care teams online. You will watch realistic consultation scenarios to understand the physical and emotional demands of a medical career. It is officially supported by the Medical Schools Council as valid work experience to reflect on in your UCAS personal statement and interviews.

University of Nottingham: Virtual Veterinary Work Experience

The University of Nottingham offers a free, open-access virtual work experience course for students in Years 12 and 13 that explores the day-to-day realities of veterinary medicine. You will learn about the structure of the profession, its governing bodies, and the clinical challenges vets face every day. It provides high-quality, foundational insight into animal health professions to discuss in your UCAS personal statement and university interviews.

IGD: Virtual Employability Skills Workshops

Students in Years 8 to 13 can gain a real-world look into the diverse career pathways within the food and consumer goods industries. These interactive 45-minute virtual workshops pair you with industry professional volunteers to explore key transferable skills, tackle live group quizzes, and find out what it takes to work with major global brands and retailers.

• Green Careers Special Focus: Thursday, 5th November 2025 – Exploring sustainable food systems, eco-friendly skills, and green roles.

• Engineering in Food (STEM Focus): Tuesday, 10th November 2025 (11:15 AM) – Run during Tomorrow’s Engineers Week to showcase tech and engineering careers that get food from farm to shelf.

Format: Free live online webinar via Zoom (45 minutes). No webcam or microphone required.

Catalyst Education Programme London 2026/27

Break into the elite world of investment banking, wealth management, and corporate financial services. This comprehensive, fully funded scholarship for students in Year 12 and 13 pairs rigorous online academic coaching with live executive sessions at leading London financial institutions. Professional Qualification: Graduates earn a formally accredited Level 2 Professional Qualification in Financial Services to add to their CVs and UCAS profiles.

The programme is in November 2026, with the deadline to apply being Friday, 6th November 2026.

Roundhouse Autumn Youth Programme

Dive into hands-on music, media, performing arts, and business projects. Expert-led courses for students in Years 10-13 include everything from theatre and film production to DJing, VR, and game design.

Donmar Warehouse: CATALYST Youth Pathways

Discover the hidden, behind-the-scenes professional roles that bring world-class theatre productions to life. During this intensive week-long workshop for students in Years 12 and 13 who live or study within Camden or Westminster, you will pull back the curtain to work alongside executive staff and freelance creators in producing, marketing, lighting, set design, and technical stage management.

Fashion Retail Academy 

Course Guide: A guide to see an overview of courses, entry requirement, course content and industry opportunities available to students. 

Join one of the open evenings to visit FRA, meet the team, explore facilities and find out more about the courses.

Addleshaw Goddard: The Legal Explorer Programme

Access a prestigious, year-long legal scholarship designed for ambitious students exploring corporate law pathways. This flagship social mobility programme provides monthly training workshops, professional 1-to-1 mentoring, a refurbished laptop to keep, fully covered travel expenses, an end-of-programme financial bursary, and a week of paid, in-person summer work experience inside the firm's London offices.

This is for Year 12 students who have always attended a non-fee-paying state school and meet specific social mobility criteria (e.g., first-generation university applicant, free school meals, or household routine occupation).

The programme is from October 2026 – August 2027. The application Deadline is Wednesday, 30th September 2026.

Bird & Bird: Solicitor Apprentice Open Day 2026

Year 13 students (on track for AAB at A Level) can gain a complete insider look at life inside a top-tier international law firm. This comprehensive on-campus open day features corporate insight talks, current apprentice panel discussions, interactive legal workshops, and dedicated skill-building sessions to prepare you for highly competitive legal applications.

It will take place on Wednesday, 28th October 2026. Application Deadline is Wednesday, 14th October 2026 at 12:00 PM (Midday).

Insight to Linklaters

University isn't the only way into law. A solicitor apprenticeship lets you train and qualify as a solicitor while you work, earning a salary from day one with no tuition fees. UCL Bartlett: In-Person Construction Taster Day

Students in Years 12 and 13 can step inside the world of massive infrastructure and iconic architecture. If you love engineering, management, and complex problem-solving, this taster day will show you what it takes to design and deliver major global buildings. You will take part in a practical construction design workshop, explore Construction Project Management and Engineering degrees, network with industry experts, and tour the historic UCL campus.

KPMG 2027 Apprenticeship Programmes: Audit, Tax, and Corporate Services

Launch your career at a Big Four firm straight from school. These highly competitive school-leaver programmes for Year 13 students and school leavers finishing school in 2027 allow you to earn a competitive salary from day one, work with real corporate clients, and study toward a professional qualification or degree with zero tuition fees to repay.
