The education field contains a tremendous variety of career opportunities, and the majority of them show great growth in demand every year. The Education Pathway prepares our students for a career in education from preschool through high school, including special education and school administration. It provides hands-on opportunities such as touring local college credential programs as well as onsite observations throughout the Torrington Public School District. With the opportunity to learn classroom teaching by hands-on student centered learning and observation opportunities.  Students in this pathway have expressed interest in careers such as child care director, child life specialist, coach,

early childhood teacher, elementary teacher, secondary school teacher, human resource trainer, paraprofessional, college professor and physical trainer.
