Remuneration
Remuneration is provided for part-time clinical faculty members at the TMU School of Medicine who:
supervise medical learners; and/or
hold a titled role.
All part-time clinical faculty members are eligible to supervise medical learners or to apply for titled roles or with the TMU School of Medicine. We encourage you to apply for an appointment as soon as possible to ensure that you are eligible to apply for the roles that interest you.
Supervising Medical Learners
Community preceptors will be compensated at the standard rate set by the Ministry of Health. Opportunities to supervise medical learners will be available in both affiliated and non-affiliated hospitals and in community sites.
Applying for Titled Roles
All titled roles will be posted externally and will detail the remuneration and the time commitment associated with the role. Part-time clinical faculty members will be notified of new postings via email.

Non-Remunerated Opportunities
Clinical faculty members can also contribute to the School of Medicine through service. Examples of service contributions are outlined below. (Please note that this list is not exhaustive.)
