Co-op Peer Advisor Program

As an incoming co-op student, you will have access to the Co-op Peer Advisor Program.

What is a Co-op Peer Advisor?

Co-op Peer Advisors are senior co-op students who:

• understand the challenges of entering Co-op and beginning the search for your first work term,

• have the desire and ability to help you through the application and interview process, and 

• are available to assist you through the Co-op hiring process based on their past experiences and training. 

Prior to the Co-op Symposium, you will be e-introduced to your Co-op Peer Advisor, who will be available to work with you for the next several months. Look out for their emails!

How can a Co-op Peer Advisor help? 

A Co-op Peer Advisor can help you in small group meetings as well as one-on-one with:

• Review of your Cover Letter,  & Resume & LinkedIn Profile

• Work Term Search Strategies

• Mock Interviews

Note: To  get the most out of the Co-op Peer Advisor Program, ensure that you are actively communicating with your Peer Advisor!
