The Phi Alpha Honor Society, founded in the 1960s, creates a bond among social work students and promotes humanitarian goals and ideals. It also provides students with the opportunity to be recognized for their academic excellence through social work's largest honor society upon completion of their BSW and MSW degrees. I felt honored to receive a membership offer, having been recognized for my achievement, ranking within the top 35%.
