The App is available for Android devices and may be distributed through Google Play.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the App.
Anime Shimeji: Screen Pets is an Android personalization application that allows users to:
Display animated Shimeji pets over the Android Home screen and supported applications;
Use Mixed Pet Mode to display different pets at the same time;
Use Swarm Mode to display multiple copies of the same pet;
Tap, move, drag, resize, and interact with pets;
Customize pet size, speed, movement, and activity frequency;
Customize visual Status Bar elements with Emoji Battery designs, Emoji Stickers, battery icons, colors, backgrounds, and themes.
The information collected depends on how you use the App, your Android device settings, your consent choices, and the third-party services integrated into the App.
We and our service providers may automatically collect:
Android device manufacturer, model, operating system version, language, region, screen size, and device settings;
App version, installation source, session timestamps, and general usage information;
App interactions, such as screens viewed, features used, pets or themes selected, and session duration;
Crash logs, error reports, diagnostic information, and App performance data;
Internet Protocol address and general network information;
Advertising identifiers, App Set ID, Firebase installation identifiers, or similar app and device identifiers;
Ad impressions, ad clicks, rewarded-ad completion events, and advertising performance;
Google Play purchase, subscription, or Premium entitlement status, where applicable.
Depending on your consent, Android settings, location, and applicable law, advertising information may be used to provide personalized or non-personalized advertisements.
We may collect information that you voluntarily provide, including:
Your email address and message content when you contact support;
Feedback, bug reports, complaints, and feature requests;
Information included in privacy, legal, copyright, or DMCA requests;
Information needed to process a data access or deletion request.
Please do not send passwords, financial information, government identification documents, or other unnecessary sensitive information through customer support.
The App may store information such as:
Selected pets, Emoji Battery styles, Emoji Stickers, themes, and presets;
Mixed Pet Mode and Swarm Mode configurations;
Pet size, speed, position, behavior, and activity frequency;
Status Bar colors, backgrounds, icons, and visual settings;
Feature activation status and other preferences.
Most personalization settings may be stored locally on your Android device. Certain settings, operational records, entitlement information, or configuration data may also be processed using Firebase where required to operate the App.
The App may request Android permissions or system access only when needed to provide a feature selected by you.
The App requests Android’s “Display over other apps” access so that selected Shimeji pets can remain visible over the Home screen and supported applications.
This access is used only to display and support interaction with the pet overlay.
The App does not use overlay access to:
Read the content of other applications;
Read messages or passwords;
Capture information typed into other applications;
Record the screen;
Access the contents of another application;
Display advertisements outside the App.
You may disable this access at any time through Android system settings. The Shimeji pet overlay will not function while this access is disabled.
The App may use an Android Foreground Service while the screen pet feature is active.
This service supports the continuous, user-visible display, animation, movement, and touch interaction of selected pets while the user navigates between the Android Home screen and supported applications.
The service starts only after the user enables the screen pet feature and stops when the feature is disabled or when Android terminates the service.
Android may display an ongoing system notification while the Foreground Service is active.
On supported Android versions, the App may request notification permission.
Notifications may be used to:
Inform the user that the screen pet service is active;
Provide controls related to an active pet service;
Deliver important operational information;
Deliver optional updates or reminders where the user has enabled them.
Users may manage notification permission through Android system settings.
If the App allows users to select an image, background, sticker, or other media from their Android device, the App may access only the content selected by the user.
Where supported, the App may use the Android system Photo Picker instead of requesting broad access to the media library.
Selected content is used only to provide the feature requested by the user unless otherwise disclosed.
The App uses internet and network access to:
Load App content and configuration;
Display advertisements;
Access Firebase services;
Process analytics and crash reports;
Verify Google Play purchases or subscriptions;
Retrieve remote content and updates;
Prevent fraud and abuse.
The App contains advertisements.
Advertising providers and mediation partners may process information such as:
Advertising identifiers;
IP address;
Device and App information;
Approximate location inferred from IP address;
Ad impressions, clicks, conversions, and rewarded-ad completion;
Diagnostic and fraud-prevention information.
This information may be used to:
Provide personalized or non-personalized advertisements;
Measure ad performance;
Limit ad frequency;
Provide rewards after a rewarded advertisement is completed;
Prevent invalid traffic, fraud, and abuse;

Where required by law, the App will request consent before using information for personalized advertising.
Advertisements are displayed within the App. The App does not use the Shimeji overlay to display advertising over the Home screen or other applications.
The specific advertising SDKs and mediation partners used by the App may change. TOMODEV will maintain disclosures consistent with the services included in the current App version.
The App uses Google Firebase and analytics technologies.
Depending on the current App configuration, Firebase may process:
Firebase installation identifiers;
Device and App information;
Analytics events and App interactions;
Session information;
Crash reports and stack traces;
Performance and diagnostic information;
IP address and general network information;
Remote configuration and security information.
We use Firebase and analytics to:
Understand how features are used;
Monitor App stability and performance;
Diagnose crashes and errors;
Configure App features remotely;
Protect App services from fraud and abuse;
Improve the App.
Only Firebase services actually integrated into the released App version are used. Data processed by Google is also subject to Google’s applicable privacy terms.
Where the App offers subscriptions or in-app purchases, transactions are processed through Google Play Billing.
TOMODEV does not directly receive or store your complete payment card details.
We may receive or process limited purchase-related information such as:
Product or subscription ID;
Purchase status;
Purchase token;
Transaction time;
Subscription status;
Country and currency;
Premium entitlement status.
This information is used to verify purchases, restore eligible purchases, provide Premium features, prevent fraud, and respond to purchase-related support requests.
Google processes payment information according to its own terms and privacy practices.

Display and manage animated Shimeji pets;
Provide Mixed Pet Mode and Swarm Mode;
Save and apply user preferences;
Provide Emoji Battery, Emoji Stickers, and Status Bar customization;

We do not use overlay access to collect or read content displayed by other Android applications.

Personalization settings stored locally generally remain on the Android device until the user clears the App’s data or uninstalls the App.
Analytics events, crash reports, advertising records, purchase-verification records, support communications, and backend records may be retained according to operational needs, legal requirements, and the retention settings of the relevant service provider.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, misuse, or loss.
No Android application, internet transmission, cloud service, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We may request reasonable information to verify and process your request.
Because the App may not require a user account, we may have limited ability to associate server-side data with a specific user. Where appropriate, we may ask for an App installation identifier, purchase token, device information, or other non-sensitive information available in the App.
Users may remove locally stored App data by:
Clearing the App’s storage through Android system settings; or
Uninstalling the App from the Android device.

Uninstalling the App does not automatically delete information already processed by Google Play, advertising providers, Firebase, analytics services, or other third-party providers. Such information is handled according to each provider’s applicable retention practices.
The App is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children below the minimum age required for consent in their country without appropriate authorization.
If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that a child has provided personal information without required consent, contact support@tomodev.vn.
The App’s anime, cartoon, or cute visual style does not by itself mean that the App is directed specifically to children. TOMODEV configures the App’s Google Play target audience, content rating, advertising settings, and data practices according to the intended audience and applicable requirements.
The App may contain advertising, links, or integrations operated by third parties, including Google Play, Google Firebase, analytics providers, and advertising providers.
TOMODEV does not control the privacy or security practices of independent third-party services. Users should review the relevant third-party privacy policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App, Android requirements, Google Play policies, technology, law, or our business practices.
When changes are made, we will update the “Last Updated” date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request renewed consent.
