Students may bring their lunch into the LRC and borrow/read manga books.

The main study area of the LRC is dedicated to our manga area, but the reading areas and upper year study areas remain open during this time.

Who: All year groups

Where: LRC

Students may bring their lunch into the LRC and watch our current film of choice.

The main study area of the LRC is dedicated to our movie area, but the reading areas and upper year study areas remain open during this time.

When: Every Thursday lunch time

Who: All year groups

Where: LRC

Students may bring their lunch into the LRC and sit and read quietly. The use of iPads is not permitted during reading group.

When: Every Thursday lunch time

Who: Y7, Y9 & Y11

Students may bring their lunch into the LRC and take part in Free Writing Thursday. Sessions are supported by the English department (Mrs Ingleby and Miss Dunn), who offer workshops and writing guidance during these sessions.

Participants are encouraged to develop their creative writing and storytelling skills during this time. The LRC can provide notebooks for students who wish to write with pen and paper.

Who: Y8 & Y10

Where: LRC

Students may bring their lunch into the LRC and take part in Free Writing Friday. Sessions are supported by the English department (Mrs Ingleby and Miss Dunn), who offer workshops and writing guidance during these sessions.
