Student Council is an organization that includes members from all grade levels. It offers students the opportunity to develop leadership skills by planning and carrying out school activities and service projects throughout their high school years. These initiatives play a vital role in fostering school spirit, pride, and community well-being. Additionally, the Student Council serves as the voice of the student body, addressing the ideas, interests, and concerns of students and the school community.
If you're interested in building leadership skills, honing organizational abilities, gaining experience in event planning, or becoming more engaged with the school community, we invite you to join the StuCo family!
We put on COUNTLESS projects each school year.
Each project falls under one of the following categories:
Appreciation
This committee recognizes the contributions of individuals and groups at Tomball Memorial High School and the Tomball/Houston area.
Community Service
Purposely meets the community's needs through activities that reach all age, social, and ethnic groups throughout Tomball Memorial High School, the City of Tomball, and the City of Houston.
D.A.S.H. (Drugs, Alcohol, Safety, Health)
Reach out to the community and school about the issues involving drugs, alcohol, safety, and health. We shall offer solutions to minimize these issues and show the community how to live a better lifestyle.
Energy & Environment
We promote ways of conserving energy and protecting our environment among our school and community to preserve our community for now and the future.
Pride & Patriotism
Promote pride in Tomball Memorial High School, the City of Tomball, the state of Texas, and the United States of America, as well as patriotism through activities that emphasize community involvement and citizenship. This committee shall also promote unity and respect among the community no matter what gender or race a person may be or what social or economic status they come from.
