学生が世界平和に貢献する見識あるグローバル市民となるための教育を提供する。

ハワイ東海インターナショナルカレッジは、東海大学の海外教育機関として1992年に設立され、米国西地区・大学協会の基準認定（アクレディテーション）を受けています。本学を修了することにより、米国短期大学士（教養）が授与され、日米の4年制大学に編入することが可能になります。さまざまな国の学生が在籍し、隣のハワイ大学との交流を含め、国際色豊かな環境の中で授業が行われています。

HTIC's Mission Statement　（使命）

HTIC is an international gateway for students interested in education bridging diverse international perspectives, especially in the Asia-Pacific region. HTIC graduates earn Associate of Arts degree and emerge as lifelong learners who contribute positively to the world.

HTICは、特にアジア太平洋地域での多様かつ国際的視野をつなぐ教育に関心をもつ学生の国際的なゲートウェイ（入口）であり、世界の発展に貢献できる生涯学習者を輩出する。

本学には、本科、予科、インターナショナルプログラムの3つの教育部門があります。本科は、教養学科単科の短期大学、予科は今後アメリカの大学で勉強したい学生のために、必要な英語力とスタディスキルを養成するプログラムです。またインターナショナルプログラムは、短期語学研修などをコーディネイトをしています。本学での授業は、少人数制クラス体制をとり、十分な個人指導が受けれるようになっています。
