Mrs. Stevenson is an 8th-grade history teacher. She sometimes travels to enhance her social studies knowledge. Students who have had her class say many positive things, including: "She is a great teacher!", "She teaches very well.", and "Her class is fun!"

In 8th-grade social studies, students learn about the history of the United States, including present-day events, major wars, and the Civil War.

Mrs. Stevenson also earned a Master of Arts Museum Studies from the University of Oklahoma. She is also a member of the National Council for History Education, the National Council for Social Studies, the Kentucky Council for Social Studies, and is a 2026 Kentucky Teacher Achievement Award recipient. Mrs. Stevenson is a dedicated social studies educator with over 13 years of experience. 

I have heard that she is one of the top 5 social studies teachers in Kentucky. She also visits national monuments, like the ones in Washington DC. There are the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, memorials for WWll, Veitnam, Korea
