All fellow candidates who are not currently hired for a full-time, salaried teaching position at an ITF partner school for the 2026–2027 school year will be required to participate in ITF-hosted virtual interview blocks.

Each fellow will receive a schedule with up to six* 20-minute screening interviews with ITF partner schools seeking to fill vacancies for the 2026–2027 school year. School leaders will communicate next steps directly to candidates they wish to invite for a formal interview or extend an offer.

Fellows actively seeking positions must attend at least one interview block, though they are welcome to attend both. Please note that these interview blocks are intended to supplement—not replace—your independent job search.

Your interview preparation activity is the last step in becoming "School Hire Ready." The questions in the interview preparation activity help you think through potential interview questions and give you tips for answering the types of questions you'll likely encounter in an interview. Complete the following steps: 

1. Identify one of ITF's partner schools that you would like to learn more about. (Scroll to the bottom of this page to view the list of schools we have partnered with in the past. )

2. Explore the school's website.

3. Download a copy of the interview preparation questions. 

4. Answer the interview preparation questions as if you were interviewing at the school you identified.

5. Upload your completed interview preparation activity to the TNTP Portal.
