Crater of the moon is a place that has bubbling craters and steaming vent due to geothermal activities. It has a track where you can do a loop and stop at all the different places.  At all the different place of the track there were a paragraph about the area your standing in. People would like it if you enjoying walking around and learning about Taupo and it scenery. I think its a cool place to go and have a look at though it stinks a bit. It is suitable for all people but not ideal for wheel chairs. I would rate it a 7 and would recommend going in the morning.
