Store Owners

Join Us!

We need store owners who care about the community and residents' health! Become a part of our program and help provide access to food that's good for you for our community.

First Step

We typically work with stores that are locally owned and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) eligible. We partner with Produce Perks, a double-up program that allows SNAP recipients to double their dollars to spend on fruits and vegetables. We work with stores to offer this program and give residents an easier way to budget out produce.

Not SNAP Eligible Yet?

To become a SNAP eligible retailer, you can apply through the US Department of Agriculture (USDA). Click here to review the requirements and apply.

Healthy Living Murals

Through an Ohio Arts Council grant, the Healthy Community Partnership, and Creating Healthy Communities, corner stores offering fresh fruits and vegetables have an opportunity to apply for a healthy living mural to add to their building exterior. Local artists are commissioned to design these murals. Contact Christian at christian@tnpwarren.org or Lydia at lydia@tnpwarren.org for more information.
