Our Mission

Address food insecurity in low-income neighborhoods in Trumbull County by partnering with local convenience stores to increase fresh produce offerings.

What We Do

We offer corner store owners:

Connections to local fruit and vegetable distributors
Equipment for fresh produce offerings (refrigeration, shelving units, etc.)
Marketing materials
Recipe cards for meal ideas using fresh produce
Periodic corner store events to promote fresh produce
Assistance in purchasing initial produce orders

Why Corner Stores?

Whether you need an extra ingredient for a recipe, or just need a quick bite on your way to work, neighborhood corner stores are the lifeblood of food access. Convenient, affordable, and close, we believe these stores hold the power to provide healthy options for their residents and customers. Often times these stores are minority-owned, and are left out of economic development grants and opportunities. Not only are we able to reach vulnerable populations, but support local businesses as well.
