General Information
LOCATION
Nestled among the landscape of the Texas Hill Country in Northwest San Antonio, TMI is located just 18 miles from the heart of downtown. The 86-acre campus was ranked the most beautiful high school campus in Texas by Aceable and houses a chapel, observatory, garden, rifle range, hiking trails, two gymnasiums, an indoor swimming pool, a newly constructed Innovation and Design building and beautiful athletic fields among its many facilities to explore.
POLICIES & PROCEDURES
Summer At TMI camps and courses are open to students throughout the greater San Antonio area and beyond. Children do not need to attend TMI Episcopal to participate in summer programming.
EARLY ARRIVAL/ AFTERCARE
For Summer At TMI programs, we provide early arrival and aftercare supervision for children attending beginning at 8:00 a.m. and ending at 5:00 p.m.* Morning and all-day sessions begin between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. and end by 4:00 and 4:30 p.m.
This service is free of charge to those that have registered for a full day.
*This service does not include participants of the Nike volleyball and basketball camps or EatLearnGrow programs.
LUNCH
Summer At TMI provides lunch for its participants if you are doing a full-day or Panther PM session * Students will eat at a supervised lunch beginning around 11:30 a.m. and concluding around 1:00 p.m. If your child has any food allergies please note this in your medical section of your registration online.
*This service does not include participants of the Nike volleyball and basketball camps, they are instructed to bring their own lunch.
SNACKS
While we will be providing some small snacks, we recommend your child bring additional small nonperishable snacks from home if needed. All campers are REQUIRED to bring a refillable water bottle from home with their name on the bottle.
CAMP/CLASS SIZE & GRADE RANGE
Many of the sessions have minimum and maximum enrollment for the session to be successful. In the event that the session does not meet minimum enrollment, you will be notified of the cancellation and be fully refunded or offered alternative sessions. Grade ranges K - 12 reflect the grade your child will enter in the upcoming school year.
REGISTRATION/PAYMENT
Registration will begin on March 1tst, and must be completed online using the links on this website. There is a $50 deposit on all programs. Please note that all registrants will be charged a 3% non-refundable registration fee.
Payments are due in full on the Wednesday before the upcoming week's program.
Payments will be considered late on Thursday at noon prior to your weeks camp session; and will be assessed a $25 return/late fee.
Please note that if payment is not made by Thursday, your spot in camp will be forfeited and you must re-register.
Payment can be made by credit card though our registration site.
Payments will not be pro-rated due to absences, holidays, or inclement weather.
Please be thorough with food allergies, allergens, and medical conditions, especially if signing up for a session that involves food and cooking.
WAITLIST
Registrations received after a camp/course is full and has reached capacity will be put on the waitlist. If a space opens up, priority will be given to those on the wait list by order of placement on the wait list. You will be contacted by phone and/or email.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Please register for courses and camps carefully. Cancellation requests must be submitted to our office in writing, either via email or fax. Not attending the program for any reason does not entitle you to a refund. When you register your child, you are reserving space, time, and staffing whether or not your child attends the program. Session cancellations/refund requests must be emailed to summer@tmi-sa.org
Written cancellations made 14 days or more before a session starts will receive a full refund less a $35 processing fee.
Written requests received between 7-13 days before the session starts will be 50% refunded.
Refunds will not be issued for requests less than 7 days in advance of the session start date, except in the case of emergency.
Most sessions are 5 days in length. No discounts will be given for campers who do not complete the full session.

CAMPER CONDUCT
It is an expectation that all participants of Summer At TMI conduct themselves in a kind, considerate and respectful manner toward their instructors, counselors and peers. Disruptive behavior will first be handled by the instructor/counselor and then by the Director of Summer Programs. Repeated behavior may result in a camper being dismissed from camp without a refund.

MULTI-CAMP DISCOUNT
When registering your camper for 4 or more camps you can also save 10% off your registration fees. Contact us summer@tmi-sa.org for your own personal 4-PACK discount code when registering for four or more camps. The US Sport Nike, CookLearnGrow and Panther PM programs are not included in the discount. This can not be used with any other discount offers. If for whatever reason you cancel a session and your camper is only attending three sessions; you will be charged the full registration fee for those three sessions.
FRIENDSHIP REQUESTS
Sometimes you may want to have your child in the same group as another. Friendship requests may be submitted for Summer At TMI programs in writing to summer@tmi-sa.org.
Request guidelines:
• Only one friend may be placed with your child, both must be registering for the same camp on the same days/weeks and be similar ages . (i.e. Requesting a 6th grader and 1st grader be in the same group will not be honored)
• You may only request one friend, and that friend must also request you (you may turn in your requests separately).
• Friendship requests that list more than one friend will not be honored.
• Friendship requests are not accepted after June 5, 2024.
