Guidelines for Free Dress

Informal (“Dress-Down”) Days:

On Spirit days and free-dress days, students must follow the prescribed dress guidelines as designated by the Director of Student Life.

Formal (“Dress-Up”) Days:

These guidelines are intended for special events such as school ceremonies (when not required to be in uniform), Senior chapel talks, field trips, and class presentations.

If a student is caught violating these guidelines, they may lose free-dress privileges for the future. Students may be required to call their parents for a change of clothes or wear clothing provided by the school that will cover the inappropriate attire.

Inclement Weather Policy

If any of the following conditions for potential inclement weather are met, students may wear non-TMI jackets, coats, or rain gear. Students may also wear rain boots for rainy weather or warm boots for cold weather.

All other uniform requirements must be met. Families will not be informed of these conditions. It is the responsibility of the students to check the weather forecast at www.weather.com, using the 78257 zip code.
