Panther Preview Description:
Panther Preview provides a cohort of incoming first-year 6th grade students with the opportunity to engage early on in the TMI experience for two weeks in the summer. They will start their first semester having been exposed to TMI’s resources and with a team of advisors and friends in place to help them along the way. Students will have an opportunity to improve their English, mathematics, and science skills with TMI faculty in order to get a “quick start” academically as well as socially for their sixth-grade year through serving alongside one another through on and off campus opportunities throughout the 2 weeks.
Additionally, students will hear from various faculty and staff such as Father Scott Brown, Father Ben Nelson, athletics, the Corps of Cadets, and more. We can’t wait to meet you this summer! We know this will be an unforgettable and rewarding experience as we welcome you to the TMI community! Lunch and a T-shirt are included. This program is for TMI students only. Register here.

Students, you will have an opportunity to tour the campus, meet with faculty members from various programs, chat with student ambassadors, and walk your schedules.

Student ambassadors will remain on campus until noon to help with finding classrooms and navigating campus.

9:55 – 10:10 a.m. - Advisory (MS begins with division meeting in the Chapel)
10:15 – 10:25 a.m. - 1st Period
10:30 – 10:40 a.m. - 2nd period
10:45 – 10:55 a.m. - 3rd period
11:00 – 11:10 a.m. - 4th Period - MS go to semester 1 elective course

6th graders will be on campus and go through team building exercises and games and then rotate through orientation stations. Students will arrive on campus by 8:30 am and go to advisory at the beginning of the day. Dismissal is at noon and there will be no lunch this day.
