Course Objectives

This course is designed to help prepare the student for the pass Microsoft AZ-800: Administering Windows Server Hybrid Core Infrastructure certification exam.

It is a technical support course, rather than a user-level course, which will provide in-depth coverage of Microsoft Server operating system in a hybrid environment.  This will include the study of server installation, virtualization, storage, security, and troubleshooting techniques.

The instruction is given online and supported by online courseware from CompTIA. 

The primary objective of this course is to prepare students for careers as server administrators. Successful students will be able to accomplish the following Microsoft Certification exam objectives with percentage covered on the exam:

• Deploy and manage Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) in on-premises and cloud environments (30–35%)

• Manage Windows Servers and workloads in a hybrid environment (10–15%)

• Manage virtual machines and containers (15–20%)

• Implement and manage an on-premises and hybrid networking infrastructure (15–20%)

• Manage storage and file services (15–20%)
