Stem Challenge Explanations:

Snowman stretch -

 Students tried to build the tallest snowman then measured each snowman and graphed the heights to identify the tallest one.

Christmas cookie fractions - 

Students divided graham crackers into equal fractional parts and created edible arrays using the toppings.

Marshmallow trees - 

Students used problem solving skills and critical thinking skills to create a deciduous or evergreen tree using only marshmallows and toothpicks.
