The estate is located in the commune of Quincié en Beaujolais, bordering Mont Brouilly, on soils similar to Brouilly and Côtes de Brouilly.
The vines are grown in goblet size. Goblet pruning is a short pruning that respects the shape of a plant by growing upwards and thus providing shade and ground cover. This cast shadow will thus slightly reduce the ground temperature and reduce evapotranspiration.
Tearing out every other row allows you to increase the inter-row spacing. The mechanization of treatments allows for faster and more targeted interventions.
Gamay is the emblematic grape variety of Beaujolais. Originally from Burgundy, he found more suitable soils in the Beaujolais region. In Quincié, the vines draw on a soil composed of blue rocks of volcanic origin, clay, manganese and sandy hillsides which provide complexity.
