Coming from a small 5-acre family estate, vinified like the Beaujolais crus, Gamay Cret-Lafay 2022 has a denser and more structured profile than classic Beaujolais-Villages due to long maceration in cement vats.
With excellent value for money, it is very suitable for serving by the glass in restaurants and as an accompaniment to meals.
Well balanced red wine with and liquorice and cherry notes. Deep garnet color. Soft tannins with a touch of liveliness and freshness.
Ideal for pairing with various type of dishes such as BBQ meat (lamb, sausages, ribs, chicken), fish with sweet and sour sauce and seared tuna.
