Students develop project design and management skills to extend and enhance competencies and skills in other CTS courses through contexts that are personally relevant.
Students improve oral and written business communication skills necessary for efficient and effective management of information. The focus is on business writing strategies and composing emails and business letters.
Students learn and demonstrate techniques for successful selling.
Students develop a retail store images and given hands-on experience on owning a retail business and learning the necessary steps for success.
Develop project design and management skills to extend and enhance competencies and skills in other CTS courses through contexts that are personally relevant. Parameters: Advanced project courses must connect with a minimum of two CTS courses, one of which must be at the advanced level and be in the same occupational area as the project course. The other CTS course(s) must be at least at the intermediate level from any occupational area (Technology, Communications, Business, Human Services, Resources).

In-class assignments: In-class exercises will be assigned in addition to the projects. These are incredibly important for your skill development and are necessary to complete. Please ensure your assignments are handed in. If you miss the class in which the exercise was assigned, please ensure you you complete the exercise on your own time and hand it in.
