Clothing Swap

This event is hosted by Tipton SEBH Department and supported by North Cedar Resource Closet and Bennett Community School District.

SWAP DAY INFORMATION

When: Monday, February 27th, 4-7pm

Where: Mathews Building, Cedar County Fairgrounds, 220th Street, Tipton, IA

Students and families in Cedar County are welcome to get FREE donated clothing at this event. Clothing will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

DONATION INFORMATION

DROP-OFF:

Where: Tipton, North Cedar Jr/Sr High, or Bennett School Buildings

When: During school hours

Deadline: Friday, February 24th, 3pm

Please drop off items in a container or box addressed to the following:

Tipton: Student/Family Advocate

North Cedar: Resource Navigator

Bennett: Brooklyn Koranda

Guidelines for accepted donations:

New or gently used in good condition
Must be freshly washed/cleaned
No damage (stains, rips, holes, etc.)
No used socks or underwear

We are accepting all sizes of clothing. Examples of what we are looking for:

Tops
School pride apparel
Bottoms
Snowpants
Coats, Jackets, Cardigans
Shoes, Boots
Hats, gloves, and scarves
Dress clothing
Baby and toddler clothing
Unopened/new packages of socks and underwear
Hangers
