The City’s economic development department is charged with working with elected and appointed officials and community members to develop and facilitate programs to attract, retain, and grow businesses within and around the City of Fulshear to add wealth and amenities for the community, strengthen the business ecosystem, and facilitate the development of a strong economic foundation to support the provision of future community services. These efforts are supported through the City’s Type A and Type B Economic Development Sales Tax Corporations (EDCs), and administered by City staff who work as liaisons between the City, businesses and community partners, and the EDCs.
