FCCLA is a national career and technical student organization. It offers intracurricular resources and opportunities for students. This focuses on supporting families and careers, and as well as communities by doing important and personal work. Addressing societal issues through Family and Consumer Sciences education.
Tioga High School offers food science, human growth and development, Entrepreneurship, event management, leadership, culinary arts, principles of hospitality and tourism, and principles of human services.
Family and consumer science courses are designed to prepare students for a successful career and life, by learning and demonstrating valuable life skills. Skills learned include career development, effective communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. Serving our community is also an important part of FCS course work, as well as building positive relationships with friends and family.
Joining FCCLA is a great way to become involved at Tioga ISD. Members learn leadership, communication, and teamwork skills while participating in meaningful activities that help others.
No experience is needed — everyone is welcome!
