This National Program Spotlight project introduced the students of Tioga to the opportunities in the STEM industry. We hosted a mobile STEM lab and had every student 2nd-8th grade participate in fun activities.

Use various forms of communication to educate what FCCLA is all about (social media, word of mouth, newspapers, community activities, FCCLA Rocks
Fundraising efforts-Beckman Bros; Concessions; TheClothesBin, Fall Festival
Host at least 2 Family friendly activities-trunk or treat and Light Up Tioga Event
Register members in team and individual STAR Events, Spotlight Projects, and FCSA’s to compete at the Regional, State and National levels.
10+ members take FCSAs
Increase the number of advancing projects to state by 10%.
Maintain the number of teams advancing to Nationals as the 2024-5 school year (4 teams advanced last year)
Set bi-weekly and/or monthly goals for members to complete tasks toward completion of competitive event projects.
Prepare for FCSAs by using study guides and flash cards.
Prepare projects following the rubrics closely and keep the advisor informed of progress and/or needs
Memorize speeches (especially at state and national levels)
After each level of completion, closely evaluate judges’ rubrics and feedback and make improvements where needed.

Student completion of all five Power of One Units
Member of the month program will be implemented to recognize outstanding members

Career cruising activities (interest based survey)

Member of the Month will be voted on by active members and school administrators using predetermined criteria.
