Directions

Each explorer will be given an exploration packet with their assigned region. Each packet will contain all the information on what you will need to find during your expedition for your journey to be successful!

Step 1:

You will gather all your materials and equipment for the exploration.

-Exploration Packet and paper -Chromebook -Pencil and crayons -American Indian flipbook and picture cards

Step 2:

Familarize yourself with you exploration packet. Know what information you need to find in your exploration. Remember our time is limited so be prepared.

Step 3:

Go to the resources tab and begin your journey. Fill out your packet or make notes as you go! Be detailed the more you know the more you have to share! (Make sure to read all instructions! You can come back here anytime!)

Step 4:

Once your exploration has come to an end your will met up at your assigned home base to met the rest of your exploration team. Find your teams met-up marker for your met-up location. If your expedition comes to an end before all team members and you arrive at your met-up location sit quietly and review your data until your team arrives.  

Step 5:

Work with your exploration group to compare, organize, and decide what information you will be sharing with the other exploration teams.

Step 6:

As a group complete you exploration report at the end of your exploration packet. Using this report work as a group to make a poster presentation of your journey. Make sure your group covers the categories listed below.
