Description

CREATIVE NATIVE 101:  Empowering the Indigenous Imagination

This session brings out the creative imagination for each  participant through the use of:  Art, Language, Culture, Music, and Storytelling.  The use of any of South Dakota's Indigenous Languages is the foundation of our storylines, character development, and storyboarding brings out the expert in all of us.  The main outcome of this shared time is to begin the process of telling our own personal, life story that both attracts attention and captivates audiences.  Each participant will have the opportunity to develop their own comic strip/comic book storyline with characters from their own creative imagination.

Session Presenter(s)

Mark Mindt
