Lakota Circles of Hope (LCH) is a proven 10-week, culturally- based, prevention curriculum that uses Lakota traditions and culture to teach students how to deal effectively with risky behaviors. LCH has been updated and is now providing online training.
South Dakota State Historical Society
This booth provides information about the State Historical Society. An office within the Department of Education, the Society manages five programs - Archaeology, Archives, Historic Preservation, Museum, and Research and Publishing.

Helpline Center
The Helpline Center provides resources to individuals across the state of South Dakota through the 211 Helpline, volunteer opportunities, and answers the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline 988. In addition to answering 988, one focus of the Helpline Center is suicide prevention, intervention, and aftercare to support people across the state.
USDA Rural Development
USDA Rural Development is committed to helping improve the economy and quality of life in rural America. We collaborate and partner with Tribes to realize a brighter future for families, children, and Tribal communities. We make critical investments in infrastructure, schools, health clinics, housing, and businesses, to benefit Native families and communities across rural America.
We will have information on available loan and grant programs.
Sanford Underground Research Facility
SURF's (non-profit) Education and Outreach department specializes in providing equitable and rigorous STEM learning opportunities across the state. The booth will provide information about our Internship opportunities, Summer Professional Development and Sacred Circle Garden programming. There will be flyers, a standing display, and a monitor at the booth.

Oceti Wakan is a 501 (c) 3 non profit organization whose mission is to help with the preservation of the Lakota language and culture and the healing of the people. We have developed curriculum over the past 20 plus years to help with teaching prevention, learning the Lakota language and now a K - 12th grade Life Skills curriculum.

SDHS Press will display our American Indian titles for purchase. We will offer a conference discount and take payments in cash, check, and credit. We will facilitate book signing for Donald Montileaux (he should have a table adjacent to ours for this purpose). SDHS Press will also have materials available on how to submit manuscripts for publication with us and the kinds of manuscripts we are looking for.
