About This Session

Thursday, November 16

11:00 AM - 11:50 AM
Room: Prairie A

Description

We know that both children and families feel the climate of a school. How the school makes students and families feel can help build relationships, create positive intentions, and create a safe learning environment for true student success to be achieved. We also know that the foundation to having a positive school environment comes from a supportive and collaborative staff. In this session, participants will learn how to create a collaborative environment with staff, understand the importance of having clear organizational structure of a staff, how to use the "DISC" tool with your staff, and how to build Family Leadership teams to build capacity and engagement through the DISC process.
