Our English Centre holds a variety of activities year-round to promote the use of English at school. These range from Spelling Bee Contest for students who would like a taste of competition, Speech Festival Preview to prepare students for the inter-school speaking contest, to Teachers' Live where teachers perform in English and have a good time with students.
Our F.3 students organize game stalls every year to teach English knowledge to F.1 and F.2 students in an interactive and engaging way. In doing so, they also consolidate their existing knowledge. Moreover, some stronger students from F.3 and F.4 are also selected to mentor their little brothers and sisters in reading, writing and speaking. This promotes a collaborative learning culture in our school.
As we are an EMI school, all our morning and formal assemblies are conducted in English. The posters or leaflets for promoting activities are mostly written in English also to create an English-print-rich environment.
LAC (language-across-curriculum) for subjects taught in English

Split-class speaking lessons in F.1-F.6
In all forms and classes, oral lessons are conducted with students split into halves. Each half is taught by a different teacher in a different classroom in order to give every single student enough chance to speak in the lesson.
Production of mini-videos
Junior form students are asked to produce videos on 1-minute individual presentations regularly in addition to making an English video project in a pair every year. The learning experience improves their confidence in speaking English year by year.
